ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

My name is Alex Jones and my passion for art started very young, I went on to study Fine Art at Northumbria at Newcastle University and for a few years worked in graphic design. I have always loved animals and since living on the farm in North Yorkshire they have become my main inspiration and subject matter. The wildlife is so abundant that I am never short of wonderful animals to study and paint. Hares, deer and barn owls are just some of the beautiful creatures that I see everyday. I am particularly fascinated by the detail in their fur or feathers and the intensity of their eyes.
